Steve
Twitchell Production is based on the creative power and commitment to
business media of Steve Twitchell. Steve began learning photography at
age 12. He made his first super 8mm film at age 13. By age 16, he had
made films for school projects and to promote his school for north-central
evaluators (A day in the life of a Ritenour student).
By age 17, he had read every book on film offered by the St. Louis County
public library. Steve bought a 16mm film projector and with the help of
his high school A-V director, hundreds of business and educational films
were playing nightly in his basement.
Steve
was graduated from the University of Missouri, Summa Cum Laude. He worked
on-air and behind the scenes in radio and TV in St. Louis, Jefferson City
and Columbia. He taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri
School of Journalism and a full-time instructor at Stephens College. He
produced the Mizzou football and basketball radio broadcasts for four
years.
For the first fifteen years Steve Twitchell Production was in business
few knew we existed. We were the "secret laboratory" of almost
every ad agency in central Missouri. Today, we are the source for narration
to many producers in other states. We have become the source for fundraising
and image videos for both ad agencies and in-house business marketing
departments all over Missouri.
STP
has put together an arsenal of top notch tools that range from the area's
most versatile lighting package (including Lowell, Arri, Chimera, and
Arri-HMI lights) to a complete auditorium presentation system with rear
screen, full drapes, powerful video projection and PA audio
system.
